Business Advisor (Dimension 2) - Access to Finance Specialist
The Lancashire Boost Business Growth Hub - Access to Finance Service is recruiting for a finance professional with experience and knowledge of the processes involved in funding SME businesses.
Through the Boost Growth Hub network the specialist will facilitate access to finance and financial support services for SME businesses located within Lancashire. Working in conjunction with a variety of internal and external partners the Specialist Advisor will support businesses with their investment readiness in preparation for raising finance. The role involves undertaking a quality in-depth finance specific diagnosis, providing appropriate information and support in respect of investment readiness, coaching to help businesses understand the most appropriate form/s of finance and facilitating introductions to funders. Ultimately the aim of the service is to increase the probability of a successful funding application.
The successful applicant will be a self-motivated finance professional; a good team player with proven problem-solving skills and an ability to think innovatively.
